Step 1 – Go to the Pennsylvania Secretary of State.
Step 2 – You may use the default Search By Name or By Business Entity ID Number.
Helpful Tip – When make a query by name, it is highly recommended that you include as many terms as possible relating to the corporation you are trying to find. The database will return all matching entities that are included with the terms entered.
Type in the ReCaptcha – When I tried this in Google Chrome (Web Browser), it did not work at the time.
Step 3 – On the listings page you will be able to see all of the results including a preview of the individual entity’s: Name, Number, Type, Status, Creation Date. Click on the Name in order to view the entire set of data listed at the Secretary of State.
Step 4 – You have found your entity and have completed your search. Use the information on this page to view the corporation’s: Name, Type, Entity Number, Status, Creation Date, State of Business, Registered Agent Office Address, and the Principal Office Mailing Address. You may also click on the link at the top of the page titled ‘Business Entity Filing History’ to view all previous images of filings.
