Step 1 – Go to the New Mexico Secretary of State.
Step 2 – On this page you may search by the corporation’s name or NMPRC number. You also have the option of looking up by Director or Registered Agent.
When preforming a search by name, you will want to make sure that you use as many keywords as possible. The database will query your terms, and on the results page you will see a list of all the entities that matched your description with the Secretary of State.
Step 3 – On the results page you will be able to preview the corporations’ NMSCC Number, Name, Type, Status, and the option to see more information by clicking on the red text link titled ‘Select’. If there are too many listings for you to sort through you can narrow the results even more by selecting to show only ‘active’ entities on the upper left hand side of the frame.
Step 4 – On the data page you will be able to view all information about the business including: Name, NMSCC Number, Status, Date of Incorporation, State of Incorporation, Principal Office Address, Registered Agent Name, Registered Agent Address, and Managers.
