Step 1 – Go to the Nevada Secretary of State.
Step 2 – You have five (5) different ways to look for your company. You may search by Name, Entity Number, Business Number, NV Business ID, Officer Name, and by Registered Agent Name.
Make sure if the ‘search by name’ option is used that you type in as many terms as you can. The system is going to return a list of all entities that match your keywords. Unless the name is unique chances are there could be hundreds of matches.
Step 3 – The results page gives you a list of all the entities that matched your query. You are also able to preview the LLC by looking at it’s Name, Business ID, Status, and Type. Select and click on any of the blue links in order to be brought to the data page.
Step 4 – You have now completed your search. On this page you can access all the information about the company you were looking for including: Status, Formation Date, Company Number, List of Members Due, Expiration Date, Business License Expiration, Formation State, Managed by, Registered Agent Name, Registered Agent Address, Officers, Amendments, and all previous filings.
