Step 1 – Go to the Alaska Secretary of State.

Step 2 – As stated in the video below, you will be brought to a screen that allows a user to search either by entity name or number. Type and click on the search button (or hit enter on your keyboard) and you will be given a number of results to choose that will contain all the necessary owner’s information as well as previous filings.

How to Create a Corporation in Alaska

Step 1– Download or fill out online Articles of Incorporation.

Step 2 – If filing online, follow the steps and pay the fee at the end (between $50 and $350 depending on the type of entity).

Reserve a Corporation Name in Alaska
If you are not ready to create a corporation but would like to reserve the name the applicant should follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Download or File Online the corporation name reservation form.

Step 2 – If filing online the applicant will be required to pay the $25 fee and if filing via standard mail a check will need to be attached and payable to the Alaska Secretary of State.

Step 3 – Send the fee and completed form to:
